Boiler servicing across the Fylde Coast.
For homes in Blackpool, Lytham St Annes, Fleetwood, Cleveleys, Poulton-le-Fylde and Kirkham and nearby. Gas Safe registered. We service gas boilers of all makes.
Why have it serviced every year
- Most boiler makers need a yearly service by a Gas Safe registered engineer to keep the warranty valid.
- A faulty boiler can leak carbon monoxide, which you can’t see or smell. A service checks that it burns safely and the flue is clear.
- Small faults get found and fixed before they turn into a breakdown in the middle of winter.
- A boiler that’s set up properly uses less gas to heat your home.
What a service includes
- A visual check of the boiler, its flue and the controls.
- Checking the gas pressure and how the boiler burns, using a flue gas analyser.
- Opening the boiler up where needed to clean and inspect the main parts.
- Testing the safety devices and checking for gas leaks.
- A written record of the service to keep with your warranty papers.
A reminder next year
Tick the box on the form when you book, or just ask, and we’ll get in touch when your next service is due, so it doesn’t slip and your warranty stays valid.
Landlords
We can service the boiler on the same visit as your yearly landlord gas safety check.
Common questions
Is a boiler service the same as a gas safety check?
No. A gas safety check makes sure every gas appliance is safe to use, and it’s what landlords need by law each year. A service goes further on the boiler itself: it’s cleaned, adjusted and checked so it keeps working well. Landlords often have both done on the same visit.
Will a service keep my warranty valid?
Most makers ask for a yearly service by a Gas Safe registered engineer, and proof that it was done. Check your warranty papers for the exact terms, and keep each service record we give you.
My boiler isn’t working properly. Can you still service it?
Tell us what it’s doing when you book. It may need a repair rather than, or as well as, a service, and we’ll explain the options before doing any extra work.
What happens if something’s unsafe?
If we find anything dangerous we make it safe there and then, which can mean turning the boiler off. We explain what’s wrong and quote to fix it.
When’s the best time to book?
Any time of year. Booking before the cold weather means the boiler is checked before you need it most.
