Who we are

What we collect
When you send an enquiry through the form, we collect your name, phone number, email address (if you give one), postcode, the type of work and your message. When you call or email us, we keep the details you give us.
Why we use it
We use your details to reply to your enquiry and, if you go ahead, to quote for and carry out the work. The law allows this because you've asked us to take these steps before entering into a contract, and because we have a legitimate interest in answering enquiries about our work. We don't sell your details or use them for marketing.
Who handles it for us
- Cloudflare hosts this website, runs the enquiry form and provides the spam check (Cloudflare Turnstile). The spam check looks at information from your browser to tell people apart from automated bots.
- Google provides the email account that enquiries are delivered to, and the spreadsheet we record them in.
These companies may process data outside the UK. When they do, they use safeguards that UK data protection law allows for international transfers.
How long we keep it
If your enquiry doesn't lead to any work, we delete it within 12 months. If you become a customer, we keep the job records we need for tax and legal reasons, usually for 6 years.
Cookies
This website doesn't use cookies for tracking, analytics or advertising.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your details, ask us to correct or delete them, or object to how we use them. Contact us using the details above. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your details, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
